People’s deputy from “Opposition Platform – For Life” Yuliya Lyovochkina announced her intention to resign “due to family circumstances”.
“People’s deputy, member of the permanent delegation of Ukraine to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, deputy head of the VRU Committee on Foreign Policy and Interparliamentary Cooperation, Yuliya Volodymyrivna Lyovochkina submitted a statement on drawing up her parliamentary credentials,” Lyovochkina’s press service reports.
Lyovochkina made this decision due to family circumstances. She expressed great gratitude to voters, friends and colleagues in the Verkhovna Rada and PACE.
Prohibition of OPZH
As UNIAN reported, in Ukraine by court decision the activities of 9 pro-Russian parties are prohibited. Among them are “Opposition Block”, “Socialists”, “Justice and Development”, “State”, “Nashi”, “Bloc of Volodymyr Saldo”, “Sharia Party”, “Opposition Platform – For Life” and “Left Opposition”.
September 15 in Ukraine finally banned the activities of the pro-Russian political party “Opposition Platform – For Life”. At the same time, the SBU reports on the investigation of 70 criminal proceedings against party functionaries involved in crimes in the field of national security.
