United States intelligence has reported that Russia could hunt down some politicians and other celebrities if it invades Ukraine. This was reported by the American site Foreign Policy citing a U.S. official and sources on U.S. intelligence.
In particular, these are well-known politicians, anti-corruption activists, Belarusian and Russian dissidents living in exile.
At the same time, the American official stated that the United States of America is reducing the level of intelligence secrecy regarding threats to specific groups in Ukraine.
