Today, October 7, the Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine Regarding Support of National Musical Product and Restriction of Public Use of Musical Product of the Aggressor State” entered into force.
The ban applies to television, radio and public places.
The document prohibits the public demonstration/performance of Russian musical works (songs performed by Russian singers, music videos, etc.) and tours of Russian artists in Ukraine.
At the same time, a list of musical performers (singers) of the aggressor state who condemn aggression against Ukraine, to whom the specified restrictions do not apply, is introduced.
The bill was approved on June 19, but entered into force today.
We also remind you that as of today, all music is prohibited on public transport.
