According to the expert, coffee does not help everyone, because its main substance (caffeine) only clogs the brain adenosine, which causes drowsiness and creates a false sense of influx, writes Glavred.
After that, the brain begins to create new receptors, which are filled with the same adenosine during the day. In such cases, many again begin to “muffle” the drowsiness of coffee, which eventually leads to insomnia.
Puja Majiji added that this is why some people start suffering from insomnia because of coffee, while others fall asleep peacefully after one cup, it all depends on what substance got into the receptors.
