On February 17, a 21-year-old wounded fighter was taken to Mechnikov Hospital from the environmental protection zone. On the front line, near Avdeevka, an 82 mm mine exploded next to it. In record time – 1.5 hours the fighters were delivered by helicopter with the advanced to Mechnikov Hospital.
According to Sergei Ryzhenko, general director of Mechnikov Hospital, the fighter’s face and thigh were damaged, from which a mine fragment, contusion and concussion were found.
He underwent surgery, now his condition is assessed as moderate. Oleg is our compatriot from Vasilkovka, he is 21 years old. He had 2 months left before the dumbbell. He will continue his treatment at a military hospital.
