The poor soldiers are not given only fruits and candies – the details of the Russians’ stay in captivity have become known.
The Ministry of Justice talked about the daily regime of Russian prisoners and their menu with meat, fish and vegetables.
Details in an interview with TSN.ua reported Deputy Minister of Justice Olena Vysotska.
“They have the right to sleep for 8 hours, three meals according to the standards of the Geneva Convention. The standards are similar to the standards for officers of the Armed Forces. They wake up at six in the morning, they are given time to put themselves in order, to recharge. In addition, there are certain regime moments. For example, roll calls. If there is work, they work. There is also free time, time for eating. Kick-off is at 10 p.m.,” Olena Vysotska told us.
To a clarifying question about whether it is true that they are fed as officers in the Ukrainian army, Vysotska answered: “Yes. This is such a peculiarity.”
It also became known what exactly is included in the enemy’s menu.
“There is a certain requirement for calorie content. Meat, fish are a must. Also cereals, vegetables. Fruits and such delicious things as candies are not on the list,” Vysotska told us.
