The resumption of the privatization process planned for September will begin with bread factories and distilleries in the west of the country, mainly those that are not working.
“Now we consider it important to start privatizing, for example, bread factories, distilleries and those objects that can help the country solve the problem with grain, with grain warehouses – in order to process this grain,” she said.
Batova noted that mostly state-owned distilleries and bread factories do not work.
According to her, there are about 200 objects ready for privatization.
“All these objects are interesting because they are located in Western Ukraine and regions where there are no active hostilities. These enterprises are interesting for the relocation of business,” explained the head of the FDM.
Batova added that if the entire regulatory framework is adopted by September and active auctions start as early as September 1, the state budget can be replenished by UAH 1 billion.
