“Referendums” will be held according to the “Crimean scenario”.
Fake “referendum” started in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine on September 23. They will last until September 27.
The Russian edition writes about it “Jellyfish“.
It is noted that the decision to urgently hold pseudo-referendums was made in a hurry after Russian President Vladimir Putin was convinced that the mobilization should be carried out as soon as possible
At the same time, the internal political bloc of the Kremlin, together with its head Serhiy Kiriyenko, was suspended from preparing for the “referendums”. Now the occupation administrations and special services are responsible for the “voting”.
“Of course, it is attended by Russian officials who came to Donbas, political technologists hired by AP, but this is an inferior work. The necessary numbers will be issued anyway,” the report says.
In addition, the political bloc of the Moscow City Hall participates in the organization of “referendums”. Initially, it was said that the mayor’s office would help organize electronic voting in the occupied territories, but later the Kremlin abandoned this idea. Now Moscow officials are “consulting” the organizers of the so-called “electoral commissions”.
Coordinators from Moscow also work in Donbas. “Voting” in the DPR is allegedly overseen by the deputy head of the department of territorial bodies of the mayor’s office, Yulia Maryasova, who organized the work of political technologists in Moscow for the State Duma elections in 2021 and the elections of Moscow municipal deputies in 2022. Another source denied this information.
At the same time, the publication reports that “referendums” in the temporarily occupied territories will be held according to the same scheme as in Crimea in 2014. As a result, the Russian authorities intend to “ensure” the following results:
- in “LDNR” – about 90% for “joining the Russian Federation” with a turnout of about 90%;
- in the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions – approximately 90%, with a turnout of about 80%.
