Russians want to use pontoon crossings for future escape — UNIAN

According to intercepted private conversations of the invaders, the personnel exchange ideas among themselves, which is the most appropriate place to escape from.

The occupiers plan to use the temporary pontoon crossings erected in the Kherson region in order to escape from there in the future.

Natalya Gumenyuk, head of the United Coordination Press Center of the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine, announced this on the air of an informational telethon.

According to her, the Russians have not yet figured out how to fix the out of order Antoniv bridge, which leads to the Crimea.

“They haven’t invented anything effective there yet. They are trying to raise engineering resources. But as Western experts testify, the fact that the occupiers leave the pontoon parts without cleaning them even during our artillery fire indicates that they have a distant goal of using them in order to sew from there,” Humenyuk said.
