The head of the Sumy OVA, Dmytro Zhivytskyi, made public information about the shelling of the region by Russia on October 5.
Zhivytsky noted: “The situation as of 10:00 p.m., October 5, 2022. During the day, there were 3 shellings on the territory of the Esmanska and Seredino-Budska communities. A total of 35 parishes were fired. They were fired from barrel artillery and mortars. As a result of mortar shelling, one of the villages of the Seredino-Budska community was damaged the roof of the barn and the windows in the veranda of the house were broken. No victims.”
