This was announced by the People’s Deputy of Ukraine Yevhenia Kravchuk (“Servant of the People” faction) during the telethon, writes UNIAN.
She noted: “They have not started yet. We keep in touch with David Araham, it is true that he is in the negotiating team. They are now flying with a Polish helicopter, because our delegation understood that Belarusians and Russians could betray at any moment, and no one was going directly through Polissya, so our delegation went through Poland. “
According to Kravchuk, talks may begin in an hour and a half.
We will remind, on February 27 the telephone conversation of the president of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky with the self-proclaimed president of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko took place, as a result of which the agreement on meeting of the Ukrainian delegation with the Russian near the Pripyat river was reached.
At the same time, Lukashenko previously stated that he “took responsibility for the fact that for the time of travel, negotiations and return of the Ukrainian delegation, all aircraft, helicopters and missiles stationed on Belarusian territory will remain on the ground.”
Earlier, the head of the Servant of the People faction, David Arahamiya, who is part of the Ukrainian delegation to the talks with Russia in Belarus, said that they were being held today to “hear the proposals.”
