The Armed Forces repulse the enemy
The Armed Forces of Ukraine stopped the enemy offensive near Siversk, in the area of Spirny, near Vershina, as well as in the area of Bakhmut and Sloviansk.
Ukrainian defenders repelled an attempted enemy assault near Siversk and inflicted significant losses on the enemy. In addition, the Armed Forces also successfully repelled the offensive of the occupiers in the area of Bakhmut and Sloviansk. It is noted that there are no significant changes in the situation on the Volyn and Polissky directions. A sign of the formation of enemy offensive groups near the Republic of Belarus was detected.
“On the Siverskyi direction, the aggressor fired at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of Zaliznyi Myst, Shalygine and Esman settlements. It is improving the engineering equipment of advanced positions in the border areas,” the General Staff reported.
In the Kharkiv direction, shelling from helicopters, tanks, mortars, barrel and rocket artillery was recorded in the areas of the settlements of Sosnivka, Slatine, Mala Danylivka, Cherkassky Tyshki, Vesele, Kutuzivka, Mospanove, Husarivka, Chepil and Nova Mykolaivka.
It is also noted that the occupiers remotely mined the area near Shestakovo and Peremoha.
In the Slavyansk direction, the enemy fired mortars, barrel and jet artillery near Krasnopill and Bogorodychny. Ukrainian defenders repelled the enemy assault and pushed back the invaders in the area of the Dolyna settlement. The troops of the Russian Federation are conducting assault operations near Mazanivka, the fighting continues.
“In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy fired at civilian infrastructure in the areas of Siversk and Hryhorivka. The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation inflicted significant losses on the Russian army during an attempted offensive in the areas of Verkhnokamianske, Belogorivka and Hryhorivka. The occupiers left,” the General Staff said in a summary.
In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy shelled Ukrainian positions with artillery of various calibers near Berestovo, Bilogorivka, Travnevo, Shumy, and New York.
An airstrike was carried out in the area of the Vuglehirskaya TPP. With the support of artillery, the enemy carried out assaults in the area of the settlement of Novoluhanske, but was unsuccessful and retreated.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine stopped the enemy offensive in the area of Spirny and repulsed the attack near Vershina, causing damage to the invaders and pushing them back.
At the same time, the enemy is trying to regroup.
The occupiers are advancing in the Luhansk region, hostilities continue.
In the Avdiyiv, Kurakhiv, Novopavliv and Zaporizhzhya directions on the contact line, shelling from mortars, barrel and rocket artillery continues. The enemy launched airstrikes near Avdiivka.
In the South Buzka direction, enemy artillery shelled the areas of Trudolyubivka, Knyazhivka, Mykolaivka, Topolina, Kobzartsi, Blagodatne, Shevchenkove, and Lupareve settlements. In addition, the Russian military continues to launch rocket attacks on objects in the Mykolaiv region.
The General Staff emphasized that the Ukrainian military suppressed an attempt of an enemy offensive in the direction of Lozovoy. The enemy continues measures to replenish losses.
