Spare parts and components for the manufacture of electric generators are exempt from import duty and VAT.

In the tenth month of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine exempted satellite Internet equipment from import duties and VAT Starlink.
As noted in statement of the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, this will reduce their cost and allow them to be provided to a larger number of people and organizations.
“Today, we approved the necessary documents so that Starlink can be imported into Ukraine without duty and VAT. This will lower their cost and make it possible to provide them to a larger number of people and organizations,” the head of government said.
As reported Government portalspare parts and components for the manufacture of electric generators are also exempted from import duty and VAT.
The Cabinet of Ministers made changes to the list of goods that are delivered to the territory of Ukraine without payment of customs duty and VAT. Components for the manufacture of energy equipment, water purification products and satellite communication devices for the Internet (Starlink) were included in the tax incentives.
“The government has exempted the import of generators and energy equipment from customs duty and VAT. This decision makes such products cheaper by approximately 25%. Today we are taking another step. So that Ukrainian manufacturers who assemble such products in Ukraine do not find themselves in a disadvantageous position, the government additionally exempted spare parts for assembling generators and energy equipment from VAT and customs duties,” said First Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Denys Kudin.
