Volunteer organizations are working together to help the military and civilians.
The Center for Humanitarian Aid has started working in the region. Oksana Kolyada, the Minister for Veterans’ Affairs of Ukraine 2019-2020, coordinates his work.
“We unite the efforts of all volunteer organizations and residents of the region. The region is ready to receive and host 300,000 people fleeing the war. Almost 20,000 displaced persons have already been accommodated and provided with everything they need. Also, realizing that many people go west in transit through the region, we can take them for a day to rest and continue to move, “- said Oksana Kolyada.
In addition, according to her, there are 2,880 empty houses in rural areas in the region, which OTG chairmen are ready to provide for living.
For those arriving by train, there is a crisis room at the train station, where all the necessary support will be provided.
Contact the crisis center. Phone: 067 380 35 11. Works around the clock.
