The camera crew of the Tokyo Broadcasting System is in Ukraine from August 1 to 8 to prepare a program about Ukrainian media workers.
It is reported press service of the National Council for Television and Radio Broadcasting, Ukrinform reports.
“TVS is preparing a special analytical program about the informational challenges of wartime. In it, they plan to analyze the mistakes made by the media when covering wars and conflicts,” the message reads.
It is noted that representatives of TVS visited “Suspilne” and also observed the work on broadcasts of the national marathon “Edyny Novyni”.
At the same time, as the National Council informs, the Japanese journalists got to know their colleagues from Chernihiv, in particular, the correspondent of “Suspilny” Oleksandr Kotenko and the operator of the TV channel “Novyi Chernihiv” Andriy Kuzmenko, who told about their work during the blockade of Chernihiv by Russian troops.
As you know, TVS plans to prepare its material for the broadcast in time for the Day of Remembrance of War Victims in Japan, which is celebrated on August 15. According to representatives of the TV channel, the lack of freedom of speech in Japan during the Second World War led to a large number of victims.
