The spokesman of the Russian dictator Dmytro Peskov said that Russia “is ready for peace talks with Ukraine for the time being”, but, they say, this may change “depending on the change in the situation”.
Peskov stated that the conditions of the President of the Russian Federation regarding negotiations with Ukraine “may change depending on the situation”. At the same time, the spokesman of the Russian dictator once again threw accusations at the Ukrainian leadership. He said that it was Ukraine that refused to negotiate with Russia.
This is reported by a Russian propaganda publication “RIA Novosti”.
“The president (Putin – ed.) said that Russia, of course, maintains its willingness to negotiate. But depending on how the situation changes, the conditions change as well. We have talked about this many times,” Peskov said.
According to him, all the goals of the so-called “special military operation” of the Russian Federation in Ukraine remain as they were.
“But in this case, it was also said at the (Putin and Erdoğan – ed.) talks that the Ukrainian side completely left the negotiation track, so the special military operation continues,” Peskov added.
It will be recalled that military expert Mykhailo Zhirokhov believes that Putin may announce in the next few days annexation of captured Ukrainian territories. In this way, he will be able to transfer the “special operation” to a different format and start mobilizing Ukrainians from these regions.
