Russian militants opened fire in Donbass at around 9pm on Sunday, February 20, in the direction of Luhansk, which is currently under their control, to accuse the Ukrainian military. About this reported at the press center of the Joint Forces Operations Headquarters.
The agency said that the militants themselves are blowing up infrastructure facilities in the occupied territories and carrying out chaotic shelling of settlements in order to accuse Ukrainian troops.
The Environmental Protection Command stressed that the Ukrainian military adheres to the Minsk agreements and norms of international humanitarian law.
“Therefore, the allegations of alleged shelling of settlements by the Armed Forces of Ukraine are outright lies and provocations, for which the occupying country is responsible.” – it is spoken in the statement of staff of OOS.
One of the mouthpieces of the Kremlin’s propaganda is the agency TASS with reference to law enforcement agencies of fighters of “LNR” already reported that Armed forces of Ukraine on Sunday after 21:00 made 16 more attacks of settlements of “LNR”. The militants also accused the Ukrainian military of shelling such settlements as Slavyanoserbsk, Sokilnyky, Zholobok, Zhovte, Kalynivka, Vuhlehirsk, and Vesela Hora.
According to ZAXID.NET, former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Valery Zaluzhny stated that in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk military personnel of the Russian Federation and special services preparing terrorist attackswhose victims are civilians.
Ukrainian intelligence also warned that Russia sent to Donetsk of fighters of PVK “Wagner” for blowing up of apartment houses then to accuse Ukraine of act of terrorism. Also among the plans of the Russians – the undermining of critical infrastructure, which could lead to casualties and man-made disasters.
Earlier, Ukrainian intelligence also reported about mining Russians a number of facilities in Donetsk.
