Posted on 30.11.2022

November 11, 2022 is a historic day for Ukraine, as the Ukrainian Armed Forces liberated Kherson.

This is the only regional center that Russia managed to occupy since the beginning of the full-scale war. As they left the city, the invaders detonated buildings and destroyed the city’s power system, leaving it without electricity and water. And after a few days, having set up new positions on the left bank of the Dnieper, Kherson began to be shelled almost every day.

Thus, on November 23, the head of the Kherson OVA, Yaroslav Yanushevich, stated that the Russian occupiers are intensifying their shelling of the de-occupied Kherson. At that time, there were already victims of these shellings in Kherson among the civilian population, including dead and wounded children. The attacks of the Russian Federation on the liberated city do not stop.

TSN.ua collected everything that is known as of November 30 about the war crimes of Russia in the liberated city, which the aggressor country is committing there after the deoccupation.

As soon as the city began to recover after the occupation, alarming news about explosions that were the result of Russian shelling began to appear. So, Nov. 21 the Russians bombarded Kherson with artillery all day. At the scene of the tragedy one person died, several others were hospitalized. In the evening, one of the Russian projectiles hit a residential building in Kherson.

On that day, the adviser to the head of the Office of the President, Mykhailo Podolyak, said that the occupiers began to take revenge to the residents of the Ukrainian city for the support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“Russia started systematically shelling Kherson from the left bank. There is no military logic – they just want to take revenge on the locals, to prevent people from living. This is a large-scale war crime on live air. Has anyone seen the Human Rights statements? Is the routine of Russian atrocities no longer interesting?” – emphasized Podolyak.
