The Ukrainian woman became the world champion in single canoeing at a distance of 1000 meters

For the Ukrainian, this is the second award at the World Championship in Canada.

Ukrainian canoeist Lyudmila Luzan became the world champion at the distance of 1000 meters, reports Ukrinform.

The Ukrainian covered the distance in 4.47.90 minutes and became the fastest in the final. Maria Mailliard from Chile took second place, Annika Loske from Germany took third place.

Previously, the Ukrainian woman won silver in a pair with Anastasia Chetverikova among canoe-doubles at a distance of 500 m.

This gold award was the debut for the Ukrainian woman at the level of singles world championships.
