The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (VRU), by a vote of 342 parliamentarians, adopted a Resolution “On the organization of the work of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in a state of emergency and / or martial law” (Reg. № 7105).

According to the report, in order to ensure the continuous work of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in a state of emergency and / or martial law in Ukraine, the organization of the work of the Parliament, its bodies and officials is carried out taking into account such features:
- the work of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is carried out in the mode of plenary sittings, work in committees, temporary special commissions and temporary investigative commissions, deputy factions (groups);
- plenary sessions are not provided, they are held on the proposal of the Conciliation Council of parliamentary factions (groups);
- meetings of the Conciliation Council are convened by the Speaker of Parliament or deputies;
- Meetings of committees (temporary special commissions) are convened by the chairmen or on the initiative of the majority of members of the relevant committees (temporary special commissions) and are held immediately to ensure consideration of the agenda of the plenary meetings.
It is known that the resolution comes into force from the date of imposition of a state of emergency and / or martial law in Ukraine and is valid until its abolition.
