58-year-old resident of the village Babenkov of the Izyum district of the Kharkiv region gave the occupiers the addresses of pro-Ukrainian fellow villagers and a military serviceman who participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation in the east of Ukraine. The police detained the man
“Immediately after the occupation of the settlement, the suspect told the Russians about the place of residence of the Armed Forces serviceman and personally went to his family and offered to “voluntarily surrender.” In addition, after the conflict, while receiving humanitarian aid, the suspect told the Russians the place of residence of pro-Ukrainian fellow villagers, who, after the searches, were taken by the Russians to the torture chamber, where they were beaten and tortured,” the message reads.
The man was charged under part 1, article 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – aiding the aggressor state. The sanction of the article provides for deprivation of liberty for a term of ten to twelve years.
