Ukrainian first middleweight boxer Serhii Bogachuk successfully defended the WBC Continental Americas title.
The Ukrainian defeated the American Nathaniel Gallimore, reports Ukrinform.
The match led the evening of boxing in Montebello (California, USA).
It was planned to hold 10 rounds, but in the 6th, Gallimore closed in the block and stopped responding to Bogachuk’s blows. The referee stopped the fight, recording the victory of the Ukrainian by technical knockout.
For the 27-year-old Bogachuk, it was the first defense of the belt, which he won in November, when he knocked out another representative of the United States – Aaron Cowley.
