Zelensky drew attention to the lack of Amnesty International’s response to the shelling of the ZNPP

President Volodymyr Zelensky drew attention to the lack of Amnesty International’s response to the Russian shelling of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.

He noted this in his video messages on Saturday, July 6, reports Ukrinform.

“Despite the fact that the Russian shelling of a nuclear plant is one of the most dangerous crimes against Ukrainians and all Europeans, for some reason there is no report or even just a message from Amnesty International about it. A very eloquent silence, which once again indicates the manipulative selectivity of this organization,” he said.

Zelensky noted that Russian terrorists became the first in the world to use a nuclear plant for terror.

He promised to draw the world’s attention to this and insist on new sanctions “due to the creation of such a global threat.”

We will remind: in the report of the human rights organization published on Thursday Amnesty International it says that this organization believes that the Ukrainian military, in an attempt to repel the Russian invasion, is endangering the civilian population by creating bases and placing weapons in residential areas, including schools and hospitals.
