The head of state was asked to consider the possibility of strengthening the Air Defense Forces of the Kharkiv region. He instructed the military to study the issue.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyi considered a petition on the possibility of strengthening the anti-aircraft defense of Kharkiv and the region, instructing the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny to consider this issue.
He recalled that since the beginning of the invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, the military-political leadership of the country and the defense forces have taken a number of measures aimed at strengthening the air defense system and ensuring the reflection of enemy strikes from the air.
“In view of the fact that the air defense of the city of Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region is carried out in the general air defense system of Ukraine, I instructed the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine V. Zaluzhny, who is responsible for its organization and management, to consider the issue raised in the electronic petition and about to inform its author about the results of the review,” the president’s answer reads.
