Russian elites are still fighting among themselves and are afraid to blame Putin for everything.
Statement of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi on refusal to conduct peace negotiations with the leader of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, was correctly interpreted by the Russian elites. They understand that in order to make peace with Ukraine, Russia will have to change its leadership.
He announced this on the broadcast of the project FREEdom political scientist Volodymyr Fesenko.
“If we talk about the strengthening of the fight between spiders and all kinds of evil… Of course, this is already visible to the naked eye. It is the military defeat of Russia in Ukraine, as well as the principled position of the Ukrainian leadership, that causes this hysteria, these throwing. Even Putin has schizophrenia – he is on the one hand actually cuts off opportunities for some compromises, and on the other hand says – I want to negotiate peace,” he explained.
The political scientist added that the Russian elite is still “tangling” among themselves and is afraid to name the main culprit in the situation – Putin himself. At the same time, ordinary Russians are also beginning to listen to Zelenskyi.
“Here are these instructions on how to surrender, the direct appeals of the president – there are already results,” Fesenko emphasized.
There are already mobilized Russian military personnel who want to surrender. According to the political scientist, Zelensky’s other appeals will also work.
Negotiations with the Russian Federation
September 30 Vladimir Putin announced the annexation of parts of four regions of Ukraine – Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhya and Kherson, in which Russia held pseudo-referendums under the muzzles of machine guns on joining the Russian Federation.
The Russian “referendums” were not recognized, in particular, by Ukraine, the USA and the member states of the European Union.
Also, on September 30, Putin offered Ukraine negotiations.
On the same day, a meeting of the National Security Council was held. After the meeting, Volodymyr Zelenskyi said that it was impossible to agree on coexistence with Putin, and Kyiv will hold a dialogue with another Russian president.
On October 4, Zelenskyy implemented this decision of the National Security Council.
